Oct 7,2017 - Oct 8,2017    Time: 10:30 am - 4:30 pm

Spend two days in the woods making a non-prickly bramble basket. Learn how, when and where to cut wild rose and how to set it into a frame and ribs.  You will make your own frame, learning how to set, slype, bind and size your hoops and ribs correctly. We’ll consider where, when and how to harvest brambles, how to do it sustainably and how to safely remove the prickles. At the end of this in-depth course you'll leave with all the knowledge you need to make a frame basket from start to finish with foraged materials. We’ll also have time set aside for connecting to the woodland surroundings, making the course a nourishing as well as a learning experience. Suitable for all levels, including beginners. Places limited to 10 participants. You'll find the full course description here
