Terms & Conditions

Bookings/cancellations: your place on a Native Hands course is only secured by booking and paying in advance, in full.
If you cancel having paid, we’ll refund 80% of your fee if we’re able to fill your place. If we’re not able to fill your place you’ll forfeit your fee. We’ll make every reasonable effort to find someone to take your place.
If you book and pay but do not attend the course, no refund will be given.
In the unlikely event of Native Hands cancelling the course, you’ll receive a full refund.
Bookings are not transferable from one course to another.

Booking a course for your group: a deposit of 25% (non refundable) is required in advance, and the balance is due in full, 4 weeks before the course. The course will run on condition that the full payment has been received 4 weeks prior to the course.
If you cancel your group booking up to 2 weeks before the course, there is a 50% cancellation charge. If you cancel less than 2 weeks before the course there is a 100% cancellation charge.
In the unlikely event of Native Hands cancelling the course, you’ll receive a full refund.

Gift vouchers: once you have received booking confirmation for the course of your choice we consider you fully booked onto that course. Unfortunately no refunds or transfers can be given if you cancel or fail to attend when using a gift voucher. Gift vouchers are valid for one calendar year from purchase date.

Age suitability: Native Hands courses are designed for adults, unless otherwise stated (as in the case of Family Wild Pottery, which is for ages 6 and up). However, 16-18 year olds are welcome on all courses if accompanied by a responsible, participating adult. Please get in touch prior to booking if you have any queries regarding age suitability.

Accessibility: most Native Hands courses take place in the woods and involve foraging and physical activity. Therefore a certain level of physical ability is required. Our aim is to make our courses accessible whenever possible, within the context and limits of a woodland setting. If you have mobility issues or other physical needs please get in touch prior to booking.

Dogs are not permitted at any Native Hands event.

Alcohol: please do not bring alcohol (or any other intoxicant) with you to any Native Hands event.
