Wild Pottery - Level 2 (13-15 Oct 2017)

Oct 13,2017 - Oct 15,2017Time: 10:30 am - 4:30 pm
\"WildPlease note that Wild Pottery Level 1 is a prerequisite for this course. If you have not already attended the level 1 course, you can book a place on Wild Pottery Level 1 here   On this 3-day course you\'ll learn how to make wild pottery using clay you dig from the woods and then fire it in a clamp kiln. Clamp kiln firing is a more complex technique than the open firing we do in Wild Pottery Level 1. It allows a little more control to the firing and because it burns hotter and longer (a good 24 hours), it results in stronger pots. We\'ll also be joined by a guest tutor, a wild food expert who will offer us some interesting and tasty activities while the clamp kiln burns. We\'ll also have time set aside for connecting to the woodland surroundings, making the three days a nourishing as well as a learning experience. Places limited to a maximum of 10 people. Please note that Wild Pottery Level 1 is a prerequisite for this course. If you have not already attended the level 1 course, you can book a place on Wild Pottery Level 1 here Camping is available at the farm venue and full details about this (as well as B&Bs) will be sent to you when you book on the course.
