Venue: Firle Village Hall, Near Lewes, Sussex
Spend the day making unique, beautiful Christmas crafts to decorate your home, using foraged and native plants. In the morning we’ll make Twig Wreaths, in the afternoon Rush Reindeer. Mulled local apple juice and mince pies will fuel your creative makings and help get you in the festive spirit.
Twig Wreath: make a seasonal wreath using foraged twigs from native woodland trees. Exquisite just as they are: unadorned, with all their subtle colours and textures.
Perfect to hang on your front door, as a wall decoration, or to use as a beautiful centrepiece for your table.
Rush Reindeer: these beautiful Skandi-inspired reindeer are a perfect Yuletide decoration for your home. Made from English rush, they have a natural beauty and a presence all their own. They look gorgeous as a centrepiece for your table or displayed on your mantelpiece.
You’ll have time to make one in the session and you can also take materials away with you to make another at home afterwards if you wish.
Spaces are limited to 10 participants, so advance booking is essential. Suitable for all levels, no previous experience needed.
